Sydney Scenes

Film: Kodak Ektar 100

Camera: Fujifilm Klasse W

So I went to Sydney last week for a couple days for work (day job). It's always interesting visiting different major cities in one country and seeing the little (or big) differences. Calling Melbourne home in Australia, I always have fun when I visit Sydney and always observing the differences between the two. There is always a major rivalry between the two cities and people love to claim sides and rep their city hard.

Over the years I've come to the realisation that Sydney is Los Angeles and Melbourne is San Francisco. That's the comparison dynamic I get from the two cities. So close...really similar in a lot of ways...but really dissimilar in many other ways. Different cultures and vibes and both cool in their own ways.

I got some good snaps while there and had fun so I'm definitely not complaining.

You're alright Sydney, I feel you.

The lovely thing about street photography is the best of is absolutely no way you can stage or even think of – it just like – it happened and isn’t it weird and it is gone.. I think the crazies stuff is the stuff that is generally real and the stuff you can make up is less impressive. – Matt Stuart
